Feeling Lucky this Saint Patrick’s Day

Friday-march-17

Hello there! It’s crazy to think that we are already half way through the month of March. This year seems to be flying by. Saint Patrick’s day is here and it’s important to be prepared so you don’t get pinched! Different shades of green are pouring into our store this season and we would love to share with you how to wear them.

BeFunky Collage3

For a more casual look we have paired together a fun pair of Green Skinny Cargo pants that are just perfect for the holiday! With a simple white off the shoulder top, the jeans will be sure to give you a pop of green showing your Saint Patrick’s Day spirit.

BeFunky Collage2

Another one of our favorite green tops is the Muse Key Hole Tie Top by Blue Life. It’s rich color really stands out with the Omaha Necklace. A simple pair of dark wash jeans and our Neptune sandals really bring this outfit all together.

BeFunky Collage1

If you’re planning on having a date night this holiday, the Castilla Ruffle Dress is the perfect combination of fun and sophisticated. This dress can be worn simply on its own or with a pair of skinnies. Throw on our new olive green Party Up Suede heel and the Plum Teardrop Druse Necklace to really complete the look.

We hope you have a wonderful and safe Saint Patrick’s Day!

A whole head of Cauliflower in pizza?!

Last week we visited our friends over at Califlour Foods at the Chico Certified Farmers Market and tried their yummy Califlour pizza crusts! The Chico based company carries a variety of healthy flour alternatives; including their new Cali-Rice. As certified health coaches, founders Amy Lacey and Dana Grant created a line of fabulous products free of gluten, artificial flavors, and preservatives. Their “Keep It Simple” motto has led them to exclusively use fresh ingredients and develop easy to follow recipes. After sampling their¬†Original and Cali-Red Pepper Crust¬†we are hooked! We are excited how delicious it can be to eat clean.

The products are available for¬†purchase at the Thursday night market and via Califlour’s Foods¬†online store.

Despite the rain, these beauties radiated positive energy in our red Keep It Simple tees by Cara Loren. We loved seeing how each lady wore the shirt, while staying true to their personal style. The boyfriend style cut is effortless and super versatile, with the front reading, “Keep It Simple.” This motto truly conveys the companies values. Each pizza crust is made with 4 fresh ingredients; cauliflower, cheese, eggs, and spices. For those of you going gluten free- these are a great staple for the entire family.

Festival Waves & Wanderlust

Boho Bombshell

Festival Season is upon us and for those of you off to Coachella enjoy! I do have to say the ladies of PB&J are a little jealous to not be there this year, but are hearts are with all you music junkies. We have put together some easy boho looks that we hope will inspire the inner festival gypsy in each of you.

Ladies tend to go for a carefree hair style while attending Coachella. We thought why not put some simple curls in your hair and complete the look with a flower crown. Super easy and when the day gets a little too hot its a breeze to whip up into a pony tail to cool things down and still look cute.

pbj4-8-2016-12 copyThis dress by Blue Life is light weight to keep you dancing the day away. The handkerchief hemline and lace up back are simple little details that make this tank dress a standout.

Another great hairstyle that is simple to do is to add tiny braids throughout your hair. To get the waves, add a little mousse to your hair and let it dry slightly. Once your hair starts to dry divide into small sections and twist your hair. It should stay in place while you continue your morning. Once it is mostly dry you can untwist your locks for an amazing wave with no hot iron tools needed and it looks amazing. If your hair is too heavy to hold the twists you can also put it into small braids instead to achieve the wavy look. pbj4-8-2016-19 copy

This fun little blouse is adorned with tiny little mirrors and belled out sleeves. The perfect top for those warm desert days.

Stylist Picks: Spring Looks

We have put together two spring looks for you today.

The first look we have is a light weight apricot blouse, perfect for the warmer temps. One of this season’s must haves¬†is the peep toe wedge. You can wear them with just about anything.
