Sunday’s are for Baking

On the menu this Sunday is Coconut Oil Banana Bread. This yummy recipe is super simple and fast. We hope you enjoy this tasty treat and enjoy the beautiful day!

Ingredients:

2 very ripe bananas

1/3 cup coconut oil

1 large egg

1 tablespoon vanilla

1 cup flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon cinnamon

1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

1 cup almonds

Step 1: 

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Mash the bananas in a glass bowl,  then mix in the coconut oil, sugar, and vanilla. Next, slowly beat in the egg.

Step 2: 

In a separate bowl mix together the flour, baking powder, and cinnamon.

Step 3: 

Combine the ingredients, then add dark chocolate chips to the mixture.

Step 4: 

Chop and caramelize almonds.

Pour batter in a greased glass baking pan and place the caramelized almonds on top.

Step 6:

Bake for 45 minutes

Step 7: Enjoy
