I was beyond excited to try and recreate some of the looks after I saw The Great Gatsby. I would die and go to heaven if I could have Daisy Buchanan’s wardrobe. The only way to describe her style would be glittery, enchanting, and glamourous. It is a shame that I will never be able to time travel back to the 1920’s so I can hang out at speakeasies, listen to jazz, and be clothed in the most beautiful attire. I can however, incorporate modern silhouettes with vintage inspired pieces to create my own dream closet.
I am currently loving my new white jeggings. They just guided me right into summer. I can not stress enough that every girl needs a pair of white pants. They have crisp clean lines and should be added to the definition of elegance. I will call Webster if you try a pair! If you are scared to give them a try, I would recommend playing with a few different pairs. Make sure that each have a different cut or are made of another material. You just don’t know until you put them on.
I found that our Perfect White Jegging checked off my list of my needs. I wanted a pant that was lighter weight so I would not roast in the summer and these are just that. I also need jeans that are made with a touch of Spandex. The Jeggings I am pictured in have 6% Spandex. It is one of my pet peeves when pants seem to grow two sizes larger throughout the day. Lastly, the other 92% of the material is Cotton. Which allows me to let out a sigh of relief when I do laundry.
I love being able to throw them in the wash and not have to worry.
I paired my adored Perfect White Jeggings with a flapper inspired black crop. This little number was recently gifted to me, and I could not be more thrilled. It just worked when I paired it with my new summer go to pants. The black and white play effortlessly off each other, and together they gave me the glamour that I sought out after I saw The Great Gatsby.
