Is it just me, or has 2012 come and gone in a world wind? With the craze of the holiday season in full swing it is easy to overlook what a beautiful year it has been; full of memories, accomplishments, and stories to boot. As 2013 approaches I can’t help but feel cliche as far as setting New Year’s resolutions. One thing that I have definitely been dreaming about lately is traveling. I’m not sure if I have been watching too much of the travel channel (guilty) or the hours spent on pinterest; either way, traveling has been on my mind. So, with the new year in store I have comprised a list of places in which I would love to explore. This list is in no particular order, however each destination seems to fascinate me in one way or another.
This last summer, I traveled to London, England with my dear friend, Brittini, as a spectator of the Olympic games. We not only had a wonderful time, we had an AMAZING experience like none other. I have always had an ongoing love affair with the European culture. It houses such charm and beauty and it always seems to leave me wanting more. With this in mind, here are a few dreamy European destinations in which I would LOVE to see:
First, here is Britt and I in London:
… and now onto the European travel bucket list:
Above is Du Midi in Chamonix, France, the highest point in Europe, it is gorgeous or what?
This is the Neuschwanstein Castle in Germany, I am thinking this is a MUST see!
Okay… now I am picturing myself soaking in these mineral bathes in Tuscany, Italy, and its a beautiful sight to see!
Driftting to the sea in Milos, Greece… YES PLEASE!!!
Well, now that I have fully channeled my inner travel agent… I think I must start counting my pennines and start making some plans! Making New Years resolutions is always fun for me, however I really want to plan things that are attainable. Although traveling to all of these amazing places would be wonderful, I plan on selecting one and then really shooting for it! And as of now… I think the mineral bathes in Tuscany have my heart!
As always thank you for reading and please feel free to comment with New Years resolutions of your own!
