Just when you think you have seen it all! Nicole Scherzinger, formerly a member of the Pussycat Dolls, stepped out wearing an electronic-powered gowd that displayed real tweets… A LIVE TWITTER DRESS! Made of 2,000 LED lights and 3,000 Swarovski crystals, this fabulous dress was created by fashion technology company, CuteCircuit. Designed by Francesca Rosella and Ryan Genz for the launch of the U.K.’s first 4G mobile network. It was an extravagant launch party, so in essence, the tweets were coming in hot and scrolling across Nicole’s dress! The tweets displayed were those who used the hashtag #tweetthedress.
All in all, this dress was a brilliant idea to say the least… and, if used on other ends, could have had hilarious results! Talk about real-time coverage! Innovation fashion trends always catch my eye and I wonder if this is something we are going to continue to see more of? When you think you have seen it all, someone seems to come up with something new that stirs up a fashion constavosy and gets people talking. In my opinion, Nicole is so beautiful, she could make a potato sack look great! I think it important to step out of your comfort zone to try something new, and boy did she do just that! Here are a couple photos from the launch party…. Enjoy!
